It’s January, 2026. (I know you know this but thought I’d go for a strong opener!) The festive madness is becoming a memory, the out-of-office replies are starting to disappear and you’re probably sitting there with that feeling. You know the one. That moment where you look back and think:
”When will that client actually send me work? How can I spend another year dealing with that generation.” Maybe you’re still trying to figure out how to juggle clients’ needs, internal politics and committee meetings you didn’t volunteer to join. Or maybe you’ve been at this for years now and despite all that effort, you’re still on that hamster wheel, unable to properly breathe. You can’t really take time off and relaxation is a word you know but not a feeling you remember. And here's what you're probably not saying out loud: You're exhausted. You're second-guessing everything. And honestly? You're starting to wonder if you're actually cut out for another year of this. (You are, by the way. But it’s 100% understandable why it may not feel that way on occasion!) Here's the truth. 2026 can be very different. Or, it can be Groundhog Day all over again. It's up to you. How do you want to feel this time next year? What goals are you setting yourself? What tool do you feel is missing from your toolkit? BE VERY SPECIFIC! Right now, there's a fork in the road. Another year of the hustle, chasing work, and quietly watching everyone else gracefully gliding through while you wonder what memo you may have missed. The other path? Actual results. More control.
More confidence.
More ease in how you run your practice, your team, and your life. Not “one day.”
